In order to strengthen the awareness of scientific research safety and build a solid laboratory safety line of defense, on March 27, Oujiang Laboratory organized and held the 2025 (spring) laboratory safety and fire safety training meeting. This training session was co-sponsored by the Department of Scientific Research Management and the Department of Conditional Security, with a total of more than 100 scientific research assistants and safety officers from each subject group attending the theoretical and practical training.

In the fire safety training session, Zhou Shengjie, a full-time fire prevention lecturer, systematically explained the essentials of evacuation and escape, fire prevention and emergency response measures, and the standardized use of fire fighting equipment and alarm telephone through fire warning cases and the characteristics of laboratory work. In the hands-on training, Mr. Zhou demonstrated in detail the use of fire extinguishers, participants one by one to carry out practical exercises, teaching experts on-site to correct operational deviations, to ensure that participants master the use of fire extinguishing equipment skills.

Through the combination of theory and practice, this training has significantly improved the safety awareness and emergency response ability of all laboratory personnel, laying a solid foundation for ensuring the safe and orderly conduct of scientific research.
